After four weeks of preparing our hearts through Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love, we finally light that centre candle to celebrate the birth of Jesus. And that’s fitting, because this candle represents Christ Himself—the reason we’ve been waiting, the reason for the season.

I have to acknowledge what happened in my past and accept that I can’t change it. But that does not mean my past should dictate my future.

We don’t always understand why things happen the way they do and that's okay. God is asking us to trust that he can use every situation to show his love for us.
